SING THESE TUNES AT KAMU AFTER KELLY CLARKSON’S VEGAS RESIDENCY

With Kelly Clarkson back on the Vegas Strip, here are some essential songs to sing at KAMU.

Kelly Clarkson has extended her residency in Vegas as part of her “Studio Sessions” at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. This is the best news ever. The American Idol alum turned superstar and iconic talk show host will be gracing the Vegas stage all the way into next Summer! If you’ve been tuned into the career of Kelly Clarkson, you’ll know that once she covers a song, it automatically becomes hers. Add to that her long list of hits, and it’s clear that her residency will most definitely be one for the ages. 

Like most amazing concerts, though, you end up leaving and looking for the after party. The energy is high, so you can’t just head back to your hotel and call it a night. Who does that? Once you’ve heard Kelly sing all of your favorite hits, where do you go? Well, you go and sing some more hits yourself. Duh!

1. Since U Been Gone – Okay, maybe you can’t belt it like Kelly, but come on, who cares? There’s something about letting out every emotion when you sing that hook. It’s a surefire stress reliever. 

2. Stronger – Another banger. Kelly Clarkson is the queen of resilience, so if you’re going through anything at all, this one will be another hit to sing at karaoke. It’s like a song full of mantras, so sing them all, one by one.

3. Your Love (by The Outfield) – If you have set foot anywhere near TikTok, then you’ll know Kelly’s cover of The Outfield’s “Your Love” has gone viral, because of her wink seen ‘round the world. If you know, you know. She’s been singing this one on stage, so wink your way through this cover of a cover at your karaoke after party.

4. Miss Independent – If you need to let loose and set your vocals free, then this Kelly hit is definitely one to load with your mic in hand. You don’t even have to be Miss Independent to sing it. You can be Mr. Independent or just Independent, as long as you have fun.

5. All The Things She Said (by t.A.t.u.) – Another Kelly Clarkson cover, this one can be a duo if you’d like, though Kelly held double duty on the vocals when she performed this one. Still, whether by yourself or with a friend, this t.A.t.u. classic is sure to get the private party jumping.
