t K-Pop groups. And then there’s YOU. The fan who rides for them. You deserve your own little celebration too. So here are 7 (like the group’s favorite number) deep cuts for you to sing here at KAMU. They may be performed on the tour, or maybe this can be your own tour addendum with your friends. So sing, dance, and have a great time. That’s your mission, ARMY.
“Blue & Grey”
This one is deep for a few reasons. This soft, acoustic ballad is so full of vulnerability, as the group tackles the pressures of just wanting some peace in the midst of running themselves dry. It’s so relatable, and a nice one to sing to remember that at the end of the day, stars are like us with their own pressures to carry.
“The Truth Untold” ft. Steve Aoki
Another slowly, but goody—with Steve Aoki on the assist. Have a crush on someone, yet you just don’t quite know how to tell them? This song could be the message. Maybe the person is in the same private karaoke suite as you, or maybe you just need to let this one out in their absence. Either way, it’s cathartic.
“UGH!”
Okay, let’s boost some energy up in your pr. One of those rare moments where BTS really taps into their rap side, this action packed track will have everyone jumping and all hyped up. While the strong message is really about releasing anger and frustrations (again, relatable material) you can really allow this one to get you ready for whatever comes next on your big BTS excursion. It’s definitely a fun one.
“Tomorrow”
Another Hip-Hop leaning fan favorite, but this one sits in the middle of super-fast and super slow. It’s a nice intermediary, mid-tempo cut with a pretty strong message. Want something to sing at your KAMU karaoke night that doesn’t slow you down too much or get you too ramped up. This one might just do the trick.
This cut is smooth. Not too fast, not too slow. BTS crafted a song that sits nicely in the middle of R&B and Pop, where you can sing about big dreams and aspirations. It’s a nice, chill, one for yourself and the crowd, yet still gives a hint of energy. Everybody needs that little boost from time to time. Why not add it to your KAMU setlist?
A lot of the BTS cuts have some really deep and introspective messaging, which despite the production or tempo can still tackle some heavy topics. With “Love Maze” it’s little upbeat (and again, not too too fast or too too slow), but the vibe is much lighter. Want something to really raise the frequency in the room with positivity? Then this is the one for you.
“Pied Piper”
A fun(ny) one to potentially close out your night at KAMU Ultra Karaoke. When BTS playfully dropped this track for the fans, the tongue-in-cheek messaging of it all basically suggested “you’re all way too into us…” And then the undertone is “…but we love it.” So cap off the night celebrating fandom and just living your best BTS life to the fullest, all across Vegas and with us at KAMU.
