Here are our DO’s and DON’Ts for karaoke!
Picture this: you and your friends booked your private suite at KAMU Ultra Karaoke. Maybe you’ve won a cool deal on our website for some drinks or other discounts. Or you’re coming back from a show at the Sphere and want a proper after party. No matter the reason or the season, you’re about to have the time of your life. Then, of course, anticipatory stage fright sets in. We aren’t some dive bar with germy peanuts and greasy mics. The stakes are raised in the most luxurious way, but to some, there’s pressure there. Don’t let it happen to you. Be prepared. Here are our KAMU Karaoke Kommandments for when you come hang out with us.
DO Make Reservations Beforehand
Well, not all of the time, but from Thursday to Sunday when the parties are poppin’. Someone is always available to help!
DON’T Just “Walk In And Out”
We are located in the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian, so make it a whole social media moment. The iconic blue painted sky should absolutely be a part of your night. Don’t forget to tag us @kamuultrakaraoke!
DO Sign Up For Our Champagne Offer
All you have to do is sign up on our site, and you’ll get an email confirmation. Flash that to our host and the bubbly is yours!
DO Know Your Vibe
Do you prefer singing solo or with a few friends? It’s always good to have that in your head early, just to make plans for coordinated dance moves. BUT…
DON’T Feel Committed To Said Vibe
You want to do a solo ballad when you’ve never done one alone before? Go right ahead! Or maybe you and your friends want to reinvent the Backstreet Boys. Do that too!
DO Have Some Idea of The Songs You Want To Sing
There is no pressure to have your entire set list ready, but remember we have an endless catalog of songs that span the globe and not just some binder with a few sheets of paper. So having some idea is a good idea.
DON’T Be Afraid to Switch It Up to Some Dance Jams

DON’T Worry About How Your Voice Sounds
Unless you’re trying out for American Idol next week or looking for a record deal in your private suite (doubtful), then who cares how you sound? It’s all about feeling and letting off some steam!

One mistake people often make at karaoke is placing too much emphasis on performing for everyone. Singing is a therapeutic release, so this is just as much for you as it is for them. THAT BEING SAID…

Sometimes people get in the zone, and that’s beautiful, but it can’t just be you. Which brings us to the next one…
DON’T Hog the Mic
Should go without saying. If you’re getting a private suite with your friends, they will probably make it a mandate that no one hogs that mic all night.
DON’T Overthink the Whole Process
This is supposed to be a night out, and we want you coming back, so overthinking it won’t help either of us.
DO Have All the Fun in the World
You’re in Las Vegas in a private suite with your friends, singing and drinking and dining. Do it up!
